Pompeii, Sorrento and Capri

Pompeii is the most famous ancient town in the world that was covered by ashes of the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in the year 79 A.C. and has been captivating archaeologists and visitors from all over the world since excavations began. You’ll see Mt. Vesuvius from a distance, walk through the extensive ruins of Pompeii, and gain knowledge and understanding of everyday life in the ancient times.

After the morning visit to Pompeii, you will drive along the coast to the most important town of Sorrento, where you enjoy rest of your morning seeing the main town which has the most magnificent view of the bay of Naples and enjoy a typical local lunch before we drop you off at the port of Sorrento for you to take the hydrofoil to Capri.

In Capri you can spend few hours on your own enjoying the island, either climb to the top towns, Capri and AnaCapri or take a boat ride around the island and see the blue grottos before taking the hydrofoil back to the port of Naples where your ship is located.
This tour requires extensive walking over uneven pavement, and we recommend you wear comfortable shoes.
* We do highly recommend a private licensed guide for Pompeii.
