Pisa and Lucca

Your English speaking driver will pick you up at the ship to drive to Pisa and Lucca.

The tour begins with a stop in Pisa, at one point this city was one of the most important Medieval maritime republics, and the center of the town, with its most important monuments is a proof of its past power and wealth. You have the morning here to explore the famous Filed of Miracles square, there are several important monuments here to see such as the Duomo, and it’s Baptistery , naturally also the world famous Leaning Tower. Passing most of the morning in Pisa, it is time to move on in the countryside of Tuscany, where you can stop for wine and olive oil tasting, if you prefer also a lunch in a private wine estate before heading towards Lucca.

This peaceful town is enclosed by the wonderful Renaissance walls. Here you can explore the narrow streets of the historical center, see palaces and churches with vestige of Roman and Medieval age. Elegant boutiques, enchanting Romanesque churches, bright colored squares create more and more interesting and unexpected views in the eyes of every visitor. The most important sites are the San Martino Cathedral and the San Frediano church, as well as the Anfiteatro square and the Giunigi Tower. In the afternoon you English speaking driver will take you back to your port.

Note: Because of security and lack of space in the port of La Spezia, all vehicles are forbidden from entering the port.
You would need to take a shuttle to exit the port and your driver will meet you where the shuttle stops.
