Essential Florence

Renaissance Florence is laid before you, your private guide will meet you at your hotel and you will make your way to The Academy Gallery that houses the David, perhaps the greatest sculpture ever created by Florentine favourite son and master, Michelangelo. From here you will continue on passing the magnificent Cathedral, Santa Maria del Fiore to view Brunelleschi’s Dome, Giotto’s Campanile (bell tower) and the “Gate of Paradise”, which are the very famous doors to the baptistery of the city. After a walk through this rich city you will arrive to the Uffizi Gallery, which holds some of the most important painting masterpieces in the world important for the history of the art. Your guide will concentrate on selected works of Giotto, Botticelli, Raphael, Da Vinci and Michelangelo and just a walk a way your guide will take you to the very famous Ponte Vecchio, the old bridge.
