Your Italy ToursThis tour will take you on an amazing journey to the underground of Rome. Your guide will meet you at your hotel and take you to one of the most interesting sites in Rome, the Catacombs. They are dated back B.C, mazes of ancient burials, with ancient frescoes, narrow tunnels and chambers is one of the most impressive sites to see when in Rome. Once you are done with the Catacombs it is time to get back to the city center, passing through the ancient walls of the city to the Basilica of St Clemente, where you can enjoy a journey back in time as you descend down three levels and through two thousand years of history. From here a walk to a very unique site that only we have the privilege to enter privately with our clients, the underground of one of the important churches in Rome , Santa Maria Maggiore, where you can see the remains of several ancient roman houses with beautiful frescos that will leave you with a Wow factor!
