Your Italy ToursThis excursion is a great getaway from Rome’s hectic center to the countryside. Your guide and your private driver will pick you up in a luxury car from your hotel in the morning and drive you throughout the countryside to the small town of Tivoli. First stop is to visit the largest palace that was constructed in the Roman Empire, which belonged to the Emperor Hadrian and designed by the emperor himself. This villa included more than 30 buildings across 300 acres: enormous baths, temples, palaces, libraries and theatres.
Your day will continue on to the upper town, where you can visit the small village of Tivoli and the most beautiful villa constructed in Italy, Villa d’Este. This visit takes you an a magic journey into a Baroque times. Beautiful gardens, mazes and hundreds of fountains are the prime attraction of this gorgeous summer villa built in 1550 for Cardinal D’Este, son of the notorious Lucrezia Borgia.
