Your Italy ToursYour day will start with your guide and a private driver picking you up from your hotel and take you along coast to the sleepy medieval town of Cerveteri. Here you still can see the ruins and learn more about the founders of Rome, the Etruscans. Cemeteries, tombs, frescoes and a local museum gives you a glimpse into the lives of these fascinating people who thrived in this region almost 3,000 years ago.
Next is Ostia Antica which was the Port of the Empire. It is marvellously preserved and perfectly represents the Roman life at the time of the Empire. From the ancient bars and bathrooms to boarding houses and brothels, Ostia illustrates how an ancient city lived, functioned and interacted 2000 years ago.
