<p>Your tour starts with the glorious Ancient Rome, Coliseum and the Roman forum, where your private guide will bring this historical site alive for you and spend the morning learning about the ancient life. After spending part of the morning here, you will take a walk to the very heart of Rome centre to see the Pantheon, once Roman gods temple built by Emperor Hadrian before stopping for a quick lunch and heading over to the Vatican to discover the Vatican museums, Sistine chapel and the St Peter’s basilica.</p>
<p>Coming in from your cruise ship what you need to do is to just catch the fast train from the port of Civitavecchia in to the main station,<strong> Roma Termini</strong>, where your private guide will meet you and accompany you to the sites either by public transportation or walking. The guide can accompany you back if you wish.<b><br />

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>This is a tour that takes you to visit the home of the most astonishing art collection in the world which ranges from Ancient to Contemporary Art, and consists of 5 miles of corridors. During the tour walking through the galleries you will hear about the great Renaissance men that helped create the city we see today as well as delving into the phenomenal works that changed the course of Art forever leading to the most important part of the museum, Sistine Chapel. Your tour will end with St Peter’s basilica and St Peter’s square.</p>
<p>Coming in from your cruise ship what you need to do is to just catch the fast train from the port of Civitavecchia in to <strong>St Peter&#8217;s Station</strong>, where your private guide will meet you and accompany you to the sites either by public transportation or walking. The guide can accompany you back if you wish.<b></b></p>
<p><strong>Please note:</strong> The Basilica of St Peter’s might close for last minute ceremonies or mass. We will try to inform you on time but it is not always possible. In this case we will decrease the price.</p>

<p>First stop is the glorious Coliseum constructed 80 AD, now the symbol of the city and the Ancient world, then a visit to the Palatine hill to walk along the main road through the Roman Forum where the capital of the Ancient world was at the time. You will learn about the remaining monuments and the daily life, spending rest of the time here before climbing to the top of the Capitoline Hill for a final view of the ancient Rome.</p>
